When checking Perpendicularity from a Plane to a Bore. Do you RECALL ONE FEATURE for both to remove the form error? And then use those recalled features in the characteristic?

May I know why you are removing form error? Form error is integral part of the measurement, if you remove the form error, your perpendicularity would give different result.

I have not done this before. But I watched one of those videos on the Zeiss Webinar where the instructor says to do this when doing the perpendicularity check per ASME. I guess I was hoping someone could shed more light as to why he removed the form error per ASME by doing the RECALL ONE FEATURE but kept the form if it was for ISO standard.

You should follow the standard mention in your drawing ,not by zeiss webinar instructor . For removing form error you have to use outer tangential evaluation for both plane and cylinder.

ASME evaluation is based on actual matting envelope while ISO emphasizing on derived median line.
