Straightness 2x

You have 2x, so the geometric controls are active on both O.D. features. The straightness control is separate to each O.D., as long as each is within .0004 (M) they are conforming. Somebody here has said that the straightness applies to both simultaneously but I find that to be unnecessarily restrictive, especially since both are linked (simultaneously) through a position control to A.

Y14.5-2009 para. 5.4 states "Form tolerances are applicable to single (individual) features, elements of single features, or features of size;..."

It's the same as a continuous feature. Both sides are treated as 1 feature, the same as a pattern. The straightness applies to both sides as 1 feature.

Kind of makes me feel that for the positional tol. and straightness call out, it shouldn't be 2x but maybe called out as 2 surfaces.
