Error Message!

Would like to see more of the cad surface, or cad presentation, but i know not everyone is so eager to show that.
Your sigma and form are really high, that tells me at the very least something is going on during the scan that the head doesn't like or doesn't understand.
The obvious first step is to slow the scan down, but also check to make sure your styli isn't running into an adjacent wall or off the edge of a surface. make sure your step width or number of points is set to take a lot of data points.

Looks like your curve is right on the back edge. can you offset it 1/2 the material thickness -Y? That should put the curve right in the middle.

I would also drop your step width to something like 0.100, with 184 data points and probably 100 waypoints, i don't know if your filters are even active.

Typically, the folks at Zeiss recommend setting the number of scanned points to 3 times the number of curve points. So, in your case 3 x 934 = 2,802 points. Also, for a planar surface. the number of curve points may not need to be so dense.
Curious how you created the curve. I've run into this error when I created a curve from the outer profile at the top edge, then offset the curve points by half of the wall thickness, then rotated the vector 90°. I don't remember if how, or if, the issue was resolved.

If you select "No Projection" instead of "Linear Projection", the message goes away, but I don't know what that setting means.

Not sure of this (because I don’t really understand the description in the documentation).
But by experience I have noticed that the linear projection calculates the deviations on direction of the trajectory of the curve shape.
When you select no projection, the deviations are on direction of the vectors.

In this case the vectors are perpendicular to the curve shape, then "no projection" is need it (or a "3d Curve" instead).

I agree with Tom and Roberto that the number of actual points should be modified too (in my opinion just more than the nominals).
