[Da...]
Has anyone configured an offline seat using a VAST-XTR and the stylus simulation function? Attached is the "Master Probe" I created in the stylus system creator. I have imported this SCC Master Probe into calypso, first followed by another stylus system. When I click on the icon to index the probe head, the stylus system is not at the bottom of the XTR sensor. I imagine there is some offset in "Z" I need to put in the "Stylus System" tab in the CMM configuration, but what is the value? I am using Calypso 2019 Service Pack 3 (Version 6.8.12)MasterProbe XTR.zip
[Ri...]
There is no need for a Z offset. I believe that your problem lies in your MasterProbe. You do not build a MasterProbe in SSC. There are pre-built ones in there. Open SSC - Drop down Master probes - Select Master probe MT/VASTMasterProbe_MT-VAST.zip
[Wo...]
I have the same problem - it used to be fine a couple of service packs ago. You didn't have to set any offsets. You just imported the masterprobe and everything matched perfectly. My guess is that its a bug.
[Wo...]
Just FYI if anyone's looking at this - the newest (6.8.16) service pack fixes this. Thanks.
