[Ad...]
I'm currently inspecting CT scan data in Gom Inspect. I'm struggling with finding a good way to quickly find leaks in the data. Surface comparisons with CAD only go so far as I'm not really looking for deviations. Instead, I'm looking for small unexpected cracks, holes, and channels extending out of other as-expected channels. Any tips on how I can highlight these cracks, holes, and channels visually? Here is an example of a leak between two as-expected channels:
[Je...]
Hello Adam, go to mesh, propertied, visualization: Disable "surface" Activate Mesh - Corner Lines (chose colour = red for example) Now only holes are visible which are marked red I (use white background for better contrast). [Ad...]
That's a good idea for finding breaks in the mesh itself. In my case, I'm trying to highlight unexpected channels in a solid mesh that doesn't have any corner lines.
[Ad...]
Is there a way to color a mesh based on the angle of each triangle's normal vector direction? This might help me identify unexpected channels.
