At the minute the files are full of info I don't need and the WinSPC software is not working correctly. I know I can do this with PCM but I have over 500 programs that I would need to change. [Ro...] Posted July 8, 2020 Share Posted July 8, 2020 Sorry this may be no help at all....... we use PCM to feed WinSPC, and to be honest i have NO IDEA what it takes to get data from a text file into WinSPC, but we've had several computer guys over the years take on this job. The system worked great but was very labor intensive on the WinSPC side, but we hired a specialist programmer in late 2019 thru crazy time 2020 who setup the system so as long as i dump the data out in a very specific 'format', winspc will grab the data automatically. I also use lots of recalls so i can copy and paste most of the PCM from 1 program to another, change the customer name and 1/2 of the work is done. Additionally, i have a couple lines in the end so if the part checks out of tol it'll auto delete the txt file before winspc grabs it, so nobody has to spend their time excluding data. Especially useful when it takes 4 or 5 parts to get a first piece signed off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
