Sorry not sure why this posted in DE 1st.
Starting not to to like Duramax's. I'm trying to qualify probes but there is 2 masters Both 1 Long, 1 Short which do I use??
Also no matter which Master I use to qualify the master sphere. I try set the probe length off the top of the Table. Then I set the probe rack position. Only to have XXT Head come in about an inch to high (picture attached) Any help is appreciated Dearly. Thanks in advance.

This statement makes no sense; "I try set the probe length off the top of the Table"?

This is done on top of the probe rack. Neither one of those look like the correct MasterProbe
length (too long) just comparing it to mine.

Before trying to set Probe Rack position Calypso ask for "Probe Length to be set". It said to take a point of the Duramax table surface. Sorry not sure why I said "Top of table", I never seen this request before.
As far as the (what I thought were) Master probes they had 2 probes in tubes Marked Master. I'm new to the Duramax machine can you show me what a master probe should look like?

Unless Duramax is set up differently than other machines? I don't know the exact length, but The MasterProbe should be
about 28 mm long (to center of ruby). Normally you probe the base plate and the ruby on top of the 3 bay XXT mini rack.

The master probe should be the one with the Red breakaway skirt at top.
When you order one they're called reference or master Red Dot probes and they're more expensive than a regular probes.
The 3mm thread XXT reference probe is offered in two lengths, 30 and 50mm.

Our Master Probe for a DuraMax has a length of about 28mm to center of ruby.

But as Owen Long says, there are also longer reference probes.
