I'd suggest calling the zeiss metrology hotline. Make sure you have the CMM's serial number handy. They should be able to get you going.

You will need to contact Zeiss to get the activation numbers. If you have an SMA, then you can you can just login to the portal and download the latest version.

If you don't have an SMA then I'm not sure if Zeiss will let you download it from the portal. Hopefully someone else can answer your question better about the process with no SMA.

Brad, I'm curious, on the right side of each license, what does it say? PC or Dgl?
It could be that you have dongle plugged directly to motherboard.

I don't have SMA , for reinstall the software I called Zeiss help, they told you can download it from portal. I think only service pack is possible, Can't download new version.

If you have your 'old' computer up & running and still connected to the network, make sure to save a backup copy of your seat for fast no hassle reconfiguration of your new install of calypso.
Extras - settings - Miscellaneous
Then under the Maintenance tab click 'save' and create a backup file somewhere you will be able to load into your new PC when you finally get the Calypso installed.
then from your new computer click 'restore' and all your probes and rack and headers (.GRA) and whatever little things you have your current computer setup will just be there and you don't have to spend a week to figure out the new issue you are experiencing is because one machine was defaulted to inch and one was defaulted to MM.
It does not however backup your programs, that needs to be done separately.

You can also load restores into multiple computers so all your computers are setup the same, including offline seats.

Roberto, if I transfer a saved file for one PC to another (Live machine to off-line), will the "new" files overwrite the old ones?

I don't know how it works, but they should.
I don't know how else the "vphead.gra" files would be updated unless the new files were put in place of the old files.
