GD&T (again)

Ok, lets see what trouble I can get into now. Lets say I have 2 bushings with a 1.51 inch ID that are 4 inches long, and are 24 inches apart. Once a weldment in completed, I need to verify that these bushings can "pass a 1.50 shaft". What would be the best way to show this in GD&T. We have tried a couple things like coaxility of one bushing to the other, but making either bushing a datum seems to skew the measurement.

I would treat it like a single cylinder, evaluating max inscribed.

Oh, and make sure you're measuring as close to both ends of each bushing as you can.

getting the ends is the tricky part. Yeah, in this case, I am not using Calypso, and the software I am using does not take into account the 'nominal' length. At least when I have to do this in Calypso, it take the nominal length into the eval. I'll look at all options tomorrow.
