[Cl...]
I created a measurement plan for a 3 part family. I want all but one of the parts to use the same stylus for the Datum ID. Can I create as a variable two different stylus for the same feature?
[Me...]
you can create a second strategy and select a different stylus to measure your feature. You can select your strategy in the run window.
[Cl...]
I wish to do this with PCM.
[Me...]
Sorry mate, I wish I could help you further. Good luck!
[He...]
You can put a formula in both stylus system and stylus boxes in your strategy.
[Cl...]
Ah yes, thank you. I see it.
[Cl...]
I've noticed that PCM is fussy about the syntax you use. One of my stylus systems is named; 180.0°_0.0°_Z-. PCM doesn't recognize it. What do I need to do aside from changing it's name, for PCM to recognize it?
[Cl...]
Thought I'd bump this one back up to the top.
[Er...]
You sould not have to do anything. I can't see why this wouldn't work. aVariable="180.0°_0.0°_Z-"
[Cl...]
I'm using a variable to get my stylus and stylus system in a .para file, but it doesn't work. In the second screen shot, the degrees symbol doesn't show up? Para_File_2.PNG
[Er...]
It needs to be a string constant. Not a number. Stylus_1 = "blabla" not Stylus_1 = blabla 180.0°_0.0°_Z- is not a number.
[Cl...]
Thanks Eric! Why do all the other variables in the para file not need to be string constants? They all work fine? P.S., how's the "recovery" going over there?
[Er...]
Its because your other variables store numbers. Recovery? If you are talking about the virus, we havent reached a recovery phase yet. We are still geting slowly executed by our feminist goverment. But I got to hand it to them, highest death rate in the world. Atleast they are "best" at something.. If you hear something at the news that just sound way to stupid to be true about Sweden. You can be sure its true. If it sounds reasonable, like the right thing to do. Its fake News..... [Cl...]
Got it, thanks again.Yah, but the mortality rate has been inflated by as much as 25%, due to almost every death being classified as Covid-19 just because they tested positive at the time of death. It is a wonder developed area like north america and Europe have more death compared to developing countries like India and China. I think a poor country can have a good health system. [Er...]
True, but refusing intensive care for elderly people in a country with one of the highest tax pressure in the world, that is murder. If corona is the actual cause or not doesnt matter. How this crisis is handled is in my opinion a subject for mob justice.
