How to save Inspect project in older version?

I would need to know how to export the entire report (Inspect Suite 2020 project) to an older version (V2016 or V2018).

How can I share a report with another gom user who has an older version of mine?

Sorry, but saving/exporting a project to an older major version are not possible due to technical restriction.

But maybe the functionality of the free version of the GOM software is suitable for your process. Otherwise, I am afraid booth have to work using the same software version.

projects are only forward compatible, so if the project was made in 2020 then it can be viewed in 2021 and up.

I think the reason for this is very obvious: Every new major release contains new features that were not present in the older versions. How is the older software supposed to handle functions it doesn't know about? Yes, it could simply ignore them, but what if one of the new features is needed for a fundamental function, like the alignment? Then everything depending on that function couldn't be calculated anymore, rendering 95% of the project useless.
