Report creation Bug?

I stumbled on to a possible bug using specific characters in a Characteristic only when generating a report in PiWeb. This bug is not present in the old report methods prior to PiWeb.

When creating characteristics and adding text, you can not add ".x", ".y" or ".z" (Note: I have never used the strings ".y" or ".z" before). My use of ".x" was to specify a collective of item numbers, see example below.
Characteristic name:
Ref #25,1b1 Ø.843 BC #22.x
The above is used to specify all item numbers from 22.01 thru 22.xxx (what ever the count is) ie: 22.01, 22.02, 22.03 etc.
In this case 22.x is a bolt circle created from three features with characteristic names #22.01, #22.02 and #22.03
See image named "PiWeb Bug using .x.jpg"
When adding the ".x" the characteristic in the PiWeb report is renamed to "X Value". (Same for using ".y" and or ".z", aptly naming Y Value and or Z Value).
I can recreate this at will on any of our CMM's software versions range from v6.4.08 thru v6.4.28.

Remove the ".x" from the characteristic name and the report is generated using the actual characteristic name.
See image named "PiWeb Bug not using .x.jpg"
This is where the characteristic is reported as named in the program.
