[Sc...]
I recently added a new angle to one of my stylus and qualified it. Now when I turned the cmm on it says on the control “not defined unknown.” So I try to go to try to go to my stylus qualification program and change probes and it says I have to manually release the probe then put it back on, but the problem is it the rollers are in the open position... it’s like it’s not reading the RDS CAA vast xxt. The cmm is a zeiss contura. The drop down on the top menu in calypso just says unknown and no other positions are there...What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. I don’t want to lose all the save stylus positions we have on our stylus qualification program. Thanks!
[Ma...]
Sounds like maybe the contacts are dirty. I would get some sticky tack or similar and be sure first nothing is on them. Because some of the components from the stylus plate and XXT are magnetic this is what I have used to clean them.
[Sc...]
Thanks for the info. I finally figured it out and made me re-teach the ID on the stylus. I still don’t get why it happened...oh well thanks for the info!
