[Ch...]
Did you use regular PLA filament? I used to 3D print as much as I could but now I get it machined out of delrin if I can. I still 3D print a lot of stuff for the CMM but I'm really not a fan of that crappy material.
[Da...]
Yes 3D printing is changing things I really like R&R, Rayco, and others fixtures. We have stopped buying there fixtures and just purchase a Prusa 3D printer for $350.00 Now we can make any fixture and not scratch the part. As for printers we have tried different brands from $250 to $78,000 this is the only printer that we have found that prints as good as a $78,000 printer but doesn't cost a arm and leg. The self leveling is amazing. We have over 30 Prusa Printer right now.Capture1.JPG

[Ch...]
Good advice. Ordering now. The brittleness of regular PLA is my only complaint when it comes to 3D printing.

[Da...]
Print time is 6 minutes on quality setting. Most fixtures take 3 to 10 hours.

That is what the Prusa Printer plastic parts are made from.
