How do I switch from a circle auto path to individual point or use the points from the circle auto path to make a straight line distance and or put in a clearance points.

If you want to go from circle auto-path to single points, just click single points in the strategy.
If you want to just cover a certain amount of the circle, change the angle range in the strategy.
If you want to scan different sections of the circle with clearance data in between each scan, create more scan paths and set the angle range accordingly.

If you want single points that you can put clearance data in between the points to clear other objects, you'll have to recreate the circle by taking points on the cad model -or- using feature recognition and probing the individual points on the part itself.
If using feature recognition, go to Extras and select "measurement methods" and then select Methods, make sure single points are chosen or an automatic scan path will be created once so many points have been taken.ALSO, go to resources and select save load/defaults and select strategy and MAKE SURE the default setting for the circle are not Enabled and set to create scan paths automatically.164_53528a03a1612143d4c7db5b343da295.jpg

Hello CMM Forum,
I have this case now, an interior circle inside other. When I try to scan a surface or to follow the path for the normal strategy of One Circle Path, the probe does not find the path and the normal obstacle defined in CAD model is ignored (This external cylinder)
How to trace a PATH or to avoid such a crash?
I am using a RDS-CAA with 30 degrees to access this interior cylinder or diameter.

Thank a lot to Shomaker,
I have reduced the retract to 0.3, and alles OK.
Now the probe come in and out without crash.
Best regards
