[Le...] Posted May 5, 2020 Share Posted May 5, 2020 I am trying to measure the profile of a diameter to two datum's using the new curve feature. One datum is another diameter and the other is a plane, my profile result is so high i know its not a believable number, read up on it best i could and still can not get this feature to work for me. i measured the same profile using freeform and got a result i can believe. does anyone know here i can find a document that tells me what to do instead of just telling me what it can do or if you have some advice your willing to share with me so i can better understand how to use the new curve feature. thanks Lee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[Me...] Posted May 5, 2020 Share Posted May 5, 2020 That's a really open ended question. If you explain what you've done so far I'll try and guide you in the right direction. Curve is not a new feature and is it's own beast unto itself. Training is usually needed unless you're into a lot of trial and error and have some time to dig into it. The most common problem I see with people using it is getting the correct nominals for the curve itself and understanding how to analyze/report the data in the correct alignment.
