Would I need anything from Zeiss to do this? Should our IT dept be able to do this internally with some help from Zeiss tech support if needed? [Da...] Posted April 30, 2020 Share Posted April 30, 2020 If your software is 5.8 or higher you should have a dongle. It is attached to an internal USB Port under the computers cover. It should have a tag with it that has the Machines Serial number. If it is older then that you will need a License key that Zeiss makes for you. I don't know the email address. I don't think they support anything older then 5.6 or 5.8 If it is 4.8 I have a guy that can make you a full License with Curve and Freeform for free. [Li...] Posted April 30, 2020 Author Share Posted April 30, 2020 The software version is 5.6. I have asked my area Zeiss aftermarket rep for a quote and software/licence and possibly tech support.
