RDS-XXT Planner Simulation

For many years, the z value for the Master Probe in Planner, in the Stylus System settings of the CMM window were always around 191.601. Apparently this has changed. According to the set up doc in Stylus System Creator is 192.889 (mm)

Have you tested with that offset to see if it works correctly?

I would imagine that you would see the 1mm offset, but I've never noticed it.

Mine is in inch but it converts to 191.5998

Yes, I used the 192.889 from the SSC set-up doc and all my probes appear to be in the correct place now, including the MasterProbe...

Yes, that's very close to the 191.601 number I've used for many years.

Tom, maybe you remember back when I was having trouble with my probe in simulation and you helped me work my way through it. Turned out that it was set up in metric and I was running it in imperial. I converted what I had and that's what it came up with. It didn't change the program or anything but the sim looked more or less correct... good enough for a sim so I didn't mess with it further. I just wonder if a mm or so means anything in simulation? If you change it to either length, does it look very much different one from the other?
