Layer selection from 6.6 to 6.8

We recently upgraded to 6.8 from 6.6 and I seem to have trouble selecting planes on more intricate models, sometimes it selects the plane behind what I wanted. I never had this issue in 6.6 and was curious if anyone else noticed any changes like this or if there is a likely culprit. I was thinking maybe the mouse was crappy or the screen resolution? Also, it is a new computer that the software is running on.

It sounds like the graphic card settings aren't correct.

Is this a Zeiss supplied PC?
