[Si...]
Tilt and Rotation? I have 180 Tilt and 0 Rotate. If I check it at the default 135 degree I always get an error that the MP will smash into the shaft radius. I had a Zeiss Tech verify the size and setup of the 8 MM Ref Sphere when he was here doing cal last month. I figured this setup would be easier?Sphere.jpg
[Ri...]
I vary rarely keep my RS at 135. It's either at 180 or 90. Make sure when you build the new RS, you select that it is an RSH model, and the correct diameter sphere.
[Si...]
Ya, I used the setup choices that are in the system and the Tech verified it for me. I just want to make sure my Rotation is correct.
[Ri...]
If the tilt is as 180, then the rotation doesn't matter. It's only when it deviates from 180 that it matters. If you kept your RSH in that same position, but put the tilt at 135, the rotation would be 0. Thanks.
[Si...]
Thanks. I was able to successfully Calibrate my 0.8MM Probe. I must have been having faulty calibration with the Default Ref Sphere.
