Simulation-Clicking on CAD issues.

Doing some programming offline/simulation. Anyone have an idea of why when clicking on features on the CAD model Calypso decides to select something else. Its like something isn't "in sync". I click on a surface and for some reason some other surface gets highlighted, deeper in the model. I was adding points to a surface and sometimes the point goes right through the surface and is on some other surface. I am clicking and deleting till I actually get what I need.

HELP this is annoying!!!

Did you try to do an Automatic Healing routine. If there is a gap in solid model you can have this pop up. Also is the solid model you loaded a true solid? We were sent some .stp files from a customer that were converted from a Pro E file that where problematic.
We tried to open them in AutoCad Inventor to find them transparent surfaces and not a solid body. Talked to customer and whatever they did fixed the problem.

I did heal the model. I will see what engineering has to say about the models. I know there was some talk from one of the engineers stating the CNC programmer was having some issues with whatever software he used to open and review the model.

What format are you using to import your models? Sometimes it may happoen that certain surfaces come in with a flipped surface normal. Then Calypso may select through to a surface behind it.

Had the same issue, and it was due to our computer's display settings.

Matt at Crescent Gage in Rowlett TX helped me get mine running.

I am using an offline licence that only has IGES import/convert. I have to take a CAD model to a CMM upload the CAD and save it. Then on my laptop(offline/simulation) I go to that program file location and grab the "model.sab" file. This is how I have to upload CAD.

I can also get with my IT department and see if I can get some sort of upgrade on display or settings.
