Symmetri of slot

I have this part were I am currently doing a formula to give me the tolerance, but I guess there should be someway to avoid this.

How can I construct this and let Calypso do the calculation for tolerance?
I have tried different things, but I guess I haven' tried the right one yet.

You can create a theoretical circle using formula to fill in the info you want (X,Y,Z, DIA) and then report position to that circle which will allow for MMC

Or possibly theoretical planes at this intersection point, the symmetry plane should allow for MMC.
Theoretical circle should work just as well, make sure ID/OD is specified correctly for MMC.
Good luck and happy measuring.

This could maybe be an option, but the two slots has to be evaluated as CT, so it should actually be a cylinder combining the two slots.

I am not sure how to do this. Any ideas?

What I am doing now is; Scanning two lines in the depths of 0,8.

What are the features in the slot, it appears to be planes/surfaces at 80°, if these continue past the 0,8 basic here's what I might recommend:

measure each 80° plane. Create /construct a 0.8 theoretical or offset plane from the surface shown.
Intersect this with each of the (2) 80° planes. This should give you an "x" value position or whatever axis these features lie in.
Construct a theoretical plane using these "x" values. Construct symmetry plane from these 2 planes. Calypso should allow for MMC. Watch the direction of the planes, make sure they correspond with MMC, not LMC.

There are other ways to do this. Create a theo circle based on x1+x2 dist value.

Possibly fitting circle in contour as well, which might be the most challenging.

Good luck. happy measuring! and happy st pattys day ! 🤠
