[Ky...] Posted March 17, 2020 Share Posted March 17, 2020 Hey all, Is there another way to check a key with MMC besides the 2 parallel planes, perpendicular line between, point on center of perpendicular line, then theoretical circle with the length of the perpendicular line is controlling the diameter of circle and using MMC on the theoretical Circle method. This is how we were taught in class. But is was told yesterday that there was another way to do this using the slot feature or something like that. [Ca...] Posted March 17, 2020 Share Posted March 17, 2020 You can try Features>Special Geometries>Symmetry Plane. Recall Feature Points of the two Features, then give them a distance tolerance by ticking the Distance box in the Features window for the Symmetry Plane.
