[Me...] Posted August 30, 2019 Share Posted August 30, 2019 We just had the hard drive for our CMM computer die. We replaced it with one from Zeiss with Calypso already installed. How do I get rid of the Zeiss Professional Workstation background? It is way too light and the cursor gets lost on it. I've clicked on various pictures and assigned them as the background, I've renamed the ZEISS_Background.bmp or JPG whichever, and replaced it with another photo, I've even simply deleted the ZEISS_Background files and left them blank hoping for the windows default background. [Er...] Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Try this: Open the Run command. (Windows key + R) Type gpedit.msc and press enter. Navigate to Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization. Double-click on Prevent changing desktop background. If its enable, change disable. Apply If that doesnt fix it, regedit got you covered. Windows key + R, regedit and hit enter. Go to: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Desktop > Desktop Double-click on Desktop Wallpaper Tick disabled. Reboot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
