[Gr...]
When we start up the Calypso 2019 Software on our Contura G2 we get a strange log in line in the Status Window (See Boxed Line In Attached) This does not show up on the Offline Planner nor does it show up when we start the ACCURA 2. The planner and the ACCURA 2 use a Zeiss HP440 workstation Windows 10 Pro 64 EUROA4 A Zeiss HP Z4 workstation Windows 10 IOT Enterprise 2016 is attached to the Contura G2. The Interface in the CMM Configuration is set as follows on all three systems. Interface: Type Control, LAN, TCP/IP-Protocol, Address cmm-1,4712, IP Address found 192.4.1.200 yet on the Contura G2 we get this Zeiss KMG- Server connection. Everything seems to be working, but what the devil does this mean? Greg
[No...]
There's something trying to connect to your Calypso PC (or controller???). Since the IP address given is 127.0.0.1, which is the address of the PC itself, it must be another process on the same PC. I can't swear to it, but I think it could be the SQL Server running in the background. But don't ask me why it's doing that.
[Gr...]
Thanks for the information. Will check with our IT dept and see what they think. I did notice this morning that when we installed Calypso 2019 on the computer for the Contura G2 a program entitled 'ZEISS CMM Agent EULA manager' was installed. We are not sure what it does but somehow it is the culprit that triggers the strange connection. Greg K.
