[Je...]
So I have a program that was previously made and is being ran using the auto run feature on a multiple part fixture. For some reason it keeps saying that the base alignment can’t be computed. I did a manual alignment and it does the first part fine, however multiple parts need to be ran in a row and it used to go from part to part... help!!! [Jo...]
Does the part program run ok stand alone ? The error is in autorun interface ? There are two alignments in autorun, fixture, and part .
[Je...]
The part will run the alignment but then pops up saying that it can’t compute the base alignment and CNC can’t initialize control. They run a series of 10 parts at a time. I guess before they did the Manual alignment and then it worked but I did that and even re started everything and still does the same thing. [Jo...]
I'm still not clear on the circumstances of the error. So I would start by doing this.. Open the part program. Will it run in cnc alignment ? If not, try manual. Will it complete cnc alignment ? If not, look at the features being used. That will give you a clue. It could be you are manually probing in the wrong vector etc. Once the part will run you can move over to Autorun interface. I don't know your experience level so you need to be as detailed as you can so others can help you troubleshoot. Often it is a small detail. [s...]
Easiest way to figure if the alignment is any good is open the program you imported into autorun, run the alignment and program. If the part then runs in cnc mode (including alignment), re-import the new program alignment into autorun and it should work. It's been a long time since I've done anything in autorun but that used to work for me.
