[Cl...]
I run a Geometry re-qualification program twice a week, which takes about an hour. Once a month I run the Qualify passive method which takes twice as long. There are 22 positions for one of the stylus, some of those were used for old programs that we no longer run. To save time, I want to delete from my probe qualification programs those stylus that are no longer being used. Is there a way to search by program which stylus I need/no longer need? [Ow...]
Attached is an excel document I picked up somewhere along the line that searches for probes used in programs. It's been years since I used it so, don't remember the details exactly but, basically you select your inspection folder and then type in the exact name (has to be typed exactly the way it's listed in the config file?) of the probe you're looking for and if searches through every program in the inspections folder and creates a list of each program that uses it. I don't have the time to test it and explain exactly how but, hopefully somebody here more literate on how to use it or has used it will post more.Find_Probe_Usage for Calypso.xlsm
[Jo...]
This is one thing Pc-dmis did well. The probe file would search all programs and show you active angles. I would assume you are running multiple shifts due to the frequency of calibrations. Is there down time to let this run, like after you leave, or at lunch ? I have all my probe builds in a calibration program and select only what I want to qualify. You could group some for days of the week so it could run in those "free" times. My other machine with wrist angles became a challenge in time management. The XT is no problem. It is so much faster.

[Ca...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I understood that only an initial passive qualification was necessary, and routine geometry qualifications after that were fine. I don't mean hijack the thread, but are other people also doing passive qualifications? I also use a stylus qualification program.
[Ow...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I'm sure it was on the old forum, maybe even the 1st forum. Pretty sure it came from Ryan Stauffer when he was at J&H or Ellison technology .
