[Ni...]
Hi, Same program as before but differnet issue. This program we have, was created at our local Zeiss facility and is supposed to work right away on our machine in our facility. First program required few tweaks but worked fine in our machine. This second program needed tweaks too but at the end of the run, the probe head will start going all the way up and all the way to the back where our rack is located. I have to stop the program to avoid crashing into the rack in the back. How do I control the movement of the head after the program is done? I've checked and compared the home position numbers with our first program and they're the same. Thank you, Nixon U
[Jo...]
PLAN>NAVIGATION>CNC END PARK POSITION I would delete or modify the park position. At the end of the run, move the probe where you would like and reselect position. There is a button to "EXECUTE NOW" to test
[Ma...]
Just a note to John's response. If you planning on executing any of your features individually, i.e. editing the program or checking a strategy, then I would turn this off prior to doing that because it will execute the End Park Position at the end of the execution of the feature and may crash. You can go back and turn it on when your are finished. Mark

[SH...]
Please sign in to view this quote. So, the root cause of the first person problem is wrong parking position?? If it would cause collusion then what is the use of that parking position?? It is a superfluous function??
[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Program was created at our local Zeiss's facility with their machine that was bigger. I think it was reading their parking position which was further back. Our machine is smaller so it was trying to hit our rack trying to reach further back. After changing the parking position actions it now just goes up the Z+ clearance plane. 🙂
