2017 Calypso Service Pack 6.4.28 question

Recently I updated one of our CMMs to the 6.4.28 service pack. Several times after a program has finished before it pops up the report from the part that was running the software completely shuts down.

Has anyone run into this? I have 3 more CMMs to do this to, but I am worried that they will also shut down after runs which will create a lot of issues if they do. The one that does it now isn't a big deal but two of the other three will be.

Iam using calypso 6.6.0003, I didn't updated to any version eventhough I observed same problem.
I have no idea about this mystery.

Just updated all of our machines to windows 10 running the same software as before and have noticed the same behaviour.

If you look there should be something in the windows event log from the time it happens.

I know there was in ours - our operators are less than thrilled by it, I am hoping once I update to the newest version this goes away.

This is an issue that I've seen before - mainly on our O-Inspect. I have a suspicion that it's a Windows thing, and all of the data transfer, but I'm not a computer/programming expert.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything in the event log when this happens.
I did create a log sheet for the operators to keep track of what program was running and if it made it to the end of the program or not. Oddly enough, it appears to always happen on the same program and always when it completes the program........
The bad thing is, now that I have found this, I don't know what to do about it. LOL. It worked without issue before the update and now doesn't.
