PLANE WITH OFFSET

The Y value you're seeing originates from the origin of the plane which is likely in the lower left corner of your plane. You have some deviation in the A1 and A2 values meaning your plane is tilted a little bit from the Y axis. So, in reality, the mid-point fo the plane is probably atY0. You can test this using a point feature and recalling the plane, you would probably see the correct y value.

The Base Alignment would have worked fine with the offset plane. I just suggested the point so you could see that I wasn't making stuff up. lol

Not if it was being used in the base alignment to only establish the Y origin. The zero point will be where all three planes intersect.

I noticed that with a sym plane i was using for bonus. I could use 2 space points and get a true pos of .002" but couldnt get bonus... when i used the sym plane i would get .02"... crazy right ? calypso was automatically projecting it up to my trihedron. I had to adjust the projection and that fixed it up.
