[Ia...]
Could anyone briefly tell me the proper way to loop a base alignment? Doesn't need to be in depth.

[Cl...]
Base Alignment - loop - Break condition - (right click) Formula Enter this; baseSystem().valueA<0.0005 Then click "insert" enter "3" in the "End" box. I was told by a Zeiss applications engineer that <0.005 is sufficient? He explained that it is not a tolerance (as I thought)?
[Ke...]
Please sign in to view this quote. A loop of 3, with <0.005 is my goto for break conditions, but it really depends on what you are working with. I had some large injection molded plastic assemblies, where I had to loop up to 10x with <0.020 as my break condition.
[Ja...]
I'm going to stress the point that Calypso does not like "< .0005", but rather "< 0.0005". Forgetting the leading zero has caused Calypso to have a hardly identifiable crisis.
[Ia...]
0.0005 is the same value if I'm working in inches or mm, correct? Thanks for the replies.
