It sounds like you use a Base Alignment in place of a Start Alignment....loop alignments are useful in your base alignment for many parts that require 6 pt nesting if you use radial scanning point sets you don't need to take all of your points multiple times it can save significant cycle time if you have a tight tolerance break condition.
