[FR...]
Hello, Anyone had this similar issue? I chose to run program this offline program 1st time online by selection of from feature list as below In my original program, features sequence as shown below, and it ran from top to bottom by the list when I drag feature "Rad-142" to the top, it did not run from top to bottom by the sequence, it still ran as numbers shown below, it even skip feature #4. and jumped to #5 2.jpg
[FR...]
Does Calypso still keep its memory and not following the program order?
[Cl...]
If its a constructed feature, or is relative to a secondary alignment, then all those features that create them, will have to be measured first. That is one possibility.
[FR...]
Clarke, All these 5 features are not constructed feature, they are measured based on base alignment, and they are not involved for any other alignment setup.

[FR...]
the most strange thing is it spiked feature #4 and it shouldn't. I did not setup any mini plan yet.
[FR...]
sorry it skip #
[FR...]
I think reason why skip #4 is, it did not related to any dimension output. So Calypso thought it useless and decided to skip it. woo! but my feature #1,2 and 3 are output.
[To...]
Is your Base Alignment using a Loop? If so, it will run the Base Alignment according to the order of the BA window, i.e. Spatial > Planar > X Origin > Y Origin and Z Origin. Then, it will run the features in the order of your program. [FR...]
Tom, I did not iterate my base alignment as it is good enough. those features from #1 to 5, should be measured by sequence once my alignment done.
[Ke...]
Sometimes (luckily, rarely for me) Features in Calypso have a memory... did you try re-creating and replacing the feature?
[FR...]
I am thinking to delete those features and re-create them again. This is what I can imaged. any suggestion?
[Ja...]
Have you tried saving your program after the features have been rearranged?
[FR...]
yes I did. I also restart calypso.
[No...]
The rules for the order of measurements in Calypso are quite simple: Characteristics are always prioritised over features, no matter what order of measurement has been selected. A feature is only measured when it's needed for a characteristic that's been included in the measurement. Exception: When you pick "Current Selection" in the CNC dialog. If you measure by feature list, it tries to follow the list from top to bottom, but still skips unneeded features. It MUST deviate from the given order if any dependencies need to be handled, secondary alignments being only one of many possibilities. If feature #5 refers to feature #100 by a formula, a relative measurement or whatever else, #100 must obviously be measured first. Are you really sure there are no dependencies to other elements in the measurement plan? There's a context menu item to check for these.
[FR...]
Thank you Guys! I think I found reasons which feature #4 and #1 are not in the characteristic list, and also not be used for any other features, so Calypso skip it as it unneeded as Norbert mentioned...
