[Ow...]
Every since I've loaded Calypso 2018 a couple months ago and started using Pi-web (yeah, I'm late to the party) I'm having troubles with the excel report being created after every run. Sometimes it does fine and sometimes it reports nothing to the excel report. The only way to get it to report to excel after it has quit doing so is to restart the whole computer. Yes, I've had it happen even before 2018 but , not every dang day, in fact it very rarely quit when using older versions with the custom printout instead of Pi-web. Are they any short-cuts to get excel reporting again besides restarting the whole computer?
[Mi...]
I do not use excel a lot anymore since I switched to PiWeb and there table protocol. The times I do xfer over to excel, I use a radio button that I added to my report as in the picture. When to report populates, I click the button and tell it where to save. (Desktop) After it saves to my desktop, I open excel, then the saved file. Might or might not work for your app thoughCapture.JPG
[Ri...]
How are you telling it to export? Through the Multi-Printout screen?
[Ow...]
I haven't used piweb's table protocols, just using the default piweb reporting. I setting excel up using resources, define printout and then the default printout tab to select the report, like always. The issue may have nothing to do with piweb, just seems like it does it now more than ever.
[Ri...]
Turn it off the through the Define Printout menu, and add it through the Multiple Printout tab and see if it acts any better.
[Jo...]
On windows task manager, end the process of Excel and you can printout the report again.Windows Task Manager.png
