Difference between Measuring Point and Cad Entities

Happy Monday.

I had two question which I've been confused about for over sometime now.

Q1. Difference between Measuring Point and Cad Entities(For caliper function)?
- There are time when we get way different reading when we change over to measuring point from CAD Entities and then there are times when there's hardly any difference between them.









Q2. Difference between Recall and recall feature points?
- Which should be used when and why.

Any help is much appreciated.
