[Bu...]
Dear All, I'm not sure if this is right place to share but when I check geometrical tolerancing symbol of coaxility and concentricty is the same, how can I understand which method is needed one. ? second topic is, when ı check web for coaxilty measurement mainly refer two cylinder parts (male) but I have a female part which is deep drawn, technically is it correct to measure co-axility female parts alike deep drawn tube ? thank you for your support
[SH...]
Please sign in to view this quote. It depend upon standard you are following, in ISO standard coaxiality and concentricity are same, but in asme standard it is different.I was told that co axiality for 3D feature and concentricity for 2D feature. For calculating concentricity true position formula is used.
[Ri...]
In ISO, they are not the same thing. Coaxiality refers to an axis. Concentricity refers to a center. In ISO, Concentricity is the same as True Position.
