I was told it currently has Calypso Ver.4.4.04 on the Computer. Can this CMM update the the newest software? Im guessing i can import a solid model and make a program to run automatically? [No...] Posted January 16, 2020 Share Posted January 16, 2020 Whether you can update depends on the type of the CMM controller and its firmware version. If you want to be sure, download the release notes for the version you want to update to from the Zeiss portal and check the compatibility section. It contains a list of compatible systems and needed firmware versions. I guess you are aware that to update to a newer Calypso version, you'll either need an active SMA contract for that particular machine or you must purchase a new license once.
