[Ke...]
"Initialization Of Control Cancelled" ...when trying to Connect to the CMM. Anyone ever see this message? Not sure what happened to lead to the error... it's the machine my coworker uses (Contura)
[Ma...]
Were you able to re-connect? We had a similar situation with our Contura last week where we were stuck in Simulation mode and the Contura was removed from Calypso. This happened after a power failure. After a call into technical support they helped me find the directory to add our machine back to Calypso. Pretty easy fix as long as you have your stylus systems backed up. Let me know if this is what you're experiencing and maybe I can help.
[Ün...]
I had the same problem last month. When we switched on the device at the beginning of the week, the device was turned on in simulation mode. I started the device by loading the backup I took before. We couldn't find out why, Zeiss said there might be operator intervention, but I think there's something about electricity.
[Gr...]
Where I am at power failures and surges are pretty common. The power failures caused all sorts issues with Calypso settings. Our solution was to install battery backups on all three of our CMMs. These backups allow us to to log off and shut machines down properly. We have not had any issues since. [Lu...]
Good morning everyone! When your equipment failed, did the Control display this "REF" message?
[Ke...]
Funny story... turns out a "rotos" file was mysteriously installed in early December, and was somehow causing trouble (note that we do note have a Rotos on our CMM's.... we bought it used, from Zeiss, last April). Zeiss tech support assisted.
