[Ne...]
Please see attachment. I get this note every time the program is ran. I know the note is telling me that the 3 MM stylus is not in the probe rack. But the 3 mm stylus is not used in the program. I replaced it with the 3 MM CAA. I have check the Measurement Plan Editor Features and the 3mm does not show up. When I run the program, Calypso never asks for the stylus. Does anyone know where it might be hiding causing this note to come up. Thanks, NeilCALYPSO NOTE.JPG
[Cl...]
I get the same thing. I wonder if that stylus still exist as a .pcf, maybe that's where Calypso is getting from?
[Ne...]
Clark, I have another CMM that we have started running this program on as well. Since the 3 MM was never created on this CMM, I first get a warning that I am using a stylus that is not defined, and then I get this note. Again the program then runs fine on the new CMM and never asks for the stylus. Thanks, Neil
[De...]
The program has a reference to that probe that is not being fixed by Calypso. I am fairly sure this is a bug in Calypso. If you open the inspection file in a text editor, you will likely find a line somewhere in the file that has something like follows.. probeConfiguration -> '3 MM' I am not sure but I believe this happens because the original feature uses a given probe (in this case '3 MM') and then the feature is changed to use a different probe (in this case '3MM CAA'). In the inspection file there are different references to the probe that is used and Calypso fails to update the reference to the probe in all locations when it is changed. The only fix I have found for this is to manually edit the inspection file in a text editor. I would strongly suggest that if you do this you make a copy of the inspection file as a backup before you do it.

[No...]
Check the stylus section in the measurement plan editor for features. Sometimes Calypso assigns styli to group names and keeps those names even when the styli of the grouped elements change. That may also cause this message. [Re...]
Maybe it's a parkposition at the end of the program which was programed with the 3MM stylus. This will not be shown in the editor....
