[Ed...]
Hello everyone again, Like always I need help. Now I have problem with the highest point of crowning evaluation (zc). I need to evaluate it according to Volvo STD. and it says, that evaluation of the involute crowning is the largest distance between the arched "mean line" and the stright line, measured at right angle to the base line. See attached STD.jpg I have add these zc points, but I don`t know how to evaluate correctly zc at the right angle to the base line. See attached Lead.jpg In this picture you can see that zc are near the bottom, but for me it looks like it should be approximately in center (my marks with red) How to say to GearPro to take in account fHß...? See attached file Settings.jpg, what I need to change there to get correct value? If this correct place where to change something... Thank you...Settings.jpgLead.jpgSTD.jpg
[Ro...]
Hi Edgars, why do you activate slope modification with nominal value 0? If you deactivate slope modification the calculation of crowning and the high point is already as the company standard describes. Your red marked high points in your report screenshots would only be correct if you would have a nominal slope modification by round about 10 µm. But if you have no slope modification the hight point is not in the designed area because of the slope deviation.
