Machine Homing Behavior

Is there a setting to force the RDS head to index back to A0;B0 prior to going back to the home position? Currently our Conturas will allow the machine to be homed with the stylus indexed at angles that would cause a collision with the gantry

Yes there is.

Under Extras->Settings->CMM, then the probe tab. Under Home Positions, click 'Rotate to Angle', then whatever angle you want to use. Mine is just A0B0. You can also block specific probes using the 'check stylus' box.
