Offline Simulation's Probe out of Location

Started playing around with the offline simulation, and have stumbled into a problem. When I run a program, the probe isn't oriented the right way, and it is probing very far away from the CAD model. However, when I rotate stylus to a new position outside of the simulation, everything is squared up like it should be. Does anyone know how to fix this?

A few questions.
Have you set up you virtual machine ? Same model and volume etc...
When you load a model in Planner, it places it @ the machines home position so you need to move the model into the volume and make sure that the base alignment is dragged with the model.

Did you set the base alignment to match the virtual CMM ?
I find most of the time to alignment of the model has to be transformed so it matches how it will be in reality.

That is the step I must have missed. Is there a way to change the default location from the cmm's home position to the center of the measuring area?

Also, any idea why these are greyed out now? I'm sorry for my complete lack of knowledge with planner.

I always move the CAD model to the correct location whenever i a, creating a new program.

Not sure why it's grayed out but that will need to be resolved.

To move the model:
In the planner tab > measurement plan simulation
Next CAD tab > Modify CAD Model - click the positioning tab (click on the part so that it turns blue/purple), make sure the Drag Base Alignment is checked > set movement with the X/Y/Z translation > click apply and it will move it to the desired location within the volume.

You should be set.
Hope this helps
