[SH...]
We have ordered for a new disc styli, thick one mm, dia 20mm.My problem is how to calibrate the disc styli, in the online help says first take point along the normal axis of the disc, then three circle in the three section of the disc. My Disc would be very small ,I can't take three circle in the three sections..how could I calibrate it???
[Er...]
Why can't you mesure a circle on three different hights? You have atleast 0.8mm to play with. Zeiss wont sell you a styli that cant be qualified. They refuse, belive me, I've tried 🙂

[Se...]
Please sign in to view this quote. We also got this PDF-instruction a few years ago. It seems to work sofar. Even if we don´t use our disc probe daily. Only for special measurements.
[Ma...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I do not use the reference sphere. I use a certified ring gage similar in size to the part I'm measuring. Create the program as instructed. You may have to run it 2 or 3 times when tweaking your values.
