[Sc...]
Afternoon all, I need some help figuring the Angle between features out for an angle I'm trying to check. The print calls out a 6° angle from the Yaxis to the plane shown (Plane3.587). By checking either the first select result or second one I get 84 or 96°. The reason I think I'm confused is I'm used to PC-DMIS where if I entered 6° in the nominal field it would automatically then calculate it as such. Is there any such way to do this in Calypso? If not what would be the best way to report this angle as 6° from the Y axis? TIA - Scott
[Am...]
It is giving you those values because that is what you are asking it in the picture shown. If its just the angle of that plane to the y axis of your alignment then you should be able to see the angle in the feature window and you can check the box, or make a secondary alignment that is your y axis and compare it to that. Is Plane 2 part of your alignment?
[Sc...]
Amel, Yes Plane 2 is the rotation for the alignment (X+ axis) - thank you.
