I was thinking a disk probe but wasnt sure if i could measure the .100" height of the slide.....Do any of you guys have a suggestion for what you think is best..... [Da...] Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 From what I understand, disk probes are only good on the edge - the top and bottom don't get calibrated. Personally, I would use a little star or L probe, depending on what kind of head you have. But really, it is going to depend on how much access you have from surrounding features, and the tolerances you need to hit. Don't forget - sometimes a CMM is not the tool for the job.
