PCF vs SSC Files

What's the difference(s) between PCF and SSC Files? I know how to create both of them and knew where to put PCF files in 5.4, but am not sure where they go in 2017.

I can't get on my live machine right now, but here's the location of the SSC files in
Calypso 2019 (Planner). I don't believe the folder location has changed since then?

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\config\equip\Simulation\SSC

Unless I'm mistaken, the .PCF files are actual probe configurations from a live
machine, while the SCC files are simulated probes that you create.
