[Ky...]
I have an angle callout that is to the intersection of a plane to a cylinder. I pull up intersection from construction. Click on the plane and the cylinder. I check the shell box on the cylinder, but it won't give me the intersection. the cylinder continues on after the plane at the below the step as shown in the 3rd pic. How do I find this intersection? Thanks KyleAngle callout 2.pngAngle call out.pngAngle Call out Print.png
[To...]
Try a line instead of a plane.
[Ky...]
Thanks Tom that worked. Wouldn't have thought of using line thought I had to have a plane to a cylinder. Learn something new everyday.
[Ri...]
Also using a Curve, and the kink point of the theoretical line & circle works well too.
[Ke...]
I'm pretty sure that you can also throw in a theoretical plane, that intersects the plane & cylinder; if you want to use the entire feature(s), or if you are already measuring the entire surface(s) for another evaluation
