probe calibration prg

We have a probe calibration program that calibrates all the styli in our racks. With our lab tech out of the office he has a back up running this program. We had and issue where the stylus didn't load properly and the program stopped on the 4th stylus.

I'm being told that when this happens, we have to start the prg over from the beginning and re qualify styli that we just did. I didn't make this program, but to me that doesn't make any sense. All the characteristics are green, even the ones that we haven't measured. I deleted the actuals to the ones I only wanted to run, but it still started from the beginning?

I know he is using "run from characteristics" and "use position point only". I also believe "clear existing results" is unchecked.

Can you highlight the calibrations you want to run and use Execute Now?

You should be able to execute one probe by right clicking, run from characteristics and "use position points only" is correct for a program that calibrates probes. The correct way to run it is before starting the program to do the master Probe then start the program. If the box is unchecked it skips anything that already has data (handy for when you want to recalculate one characteristic you made changes on) , if you check the box it clears all data characteristics are pulling from and starts over.

My company has a VAST XXT and an MRS mini Multi Sensor Rack with one master and 5 probes. Could you share your program with me to see if we could use it? I would like to be able to calibrate all the probes without manually changing each probe.
