[Me...]
Hello, We are using QC-calc as our database for metrology results. I have defined userfields/factors we need for tracebiality and forced them to go in certain TXT factors in QC-calc. I have created 2 different printout header templates: autorun and facs templates. I have defined that autorun template uses userfields: - Process order, Comment and Sub Batch Same for FACS template. I have defined that FACS template uses userfields: - Mould_ID, Measuring Equipment, Fixture_ID, Part name and drawing number I want to use two different kind of databases which has different factors --> databases would be program specifics. Problem is that Calypso takes always all the factors defined inside the userfield.ini to QC-calc. Is it possible to create and use 2 different kind of databases parallel? Below view of Calypso SPC database how it looks like atm. Any good advices? Best regards, Teemu

[No...]
I don't know a thing about QC-Calc, so first of all: How is the data transferred to QC-Calc? Are you using the QDAS output option or does it read the Calypso files directly? If you're using QDAS there's a hidden option to have two different sets of data files generated. It involves a batch file in the config folder and a seperate QDAS config file.
[Me...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Hi Norbert, We are not using QDAS option. QC-calc reads calypso files directly. Is this the QDAS output option you mentioned? How do I define the settings?
[Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I believe you have to have QDAS plugin in Calypso first. Maybe you have it, check under settings.
[Ch...]
Have you been able to get QC Calc to read anything yet?
[Ja...]
See QC-Calc -->Help --> Machine Specific Help, Zeiss, Passing Non-Measurement Data to QC-Calc You will need to tell QC-Calc to collect those fields by adding them to: Administrative Tool --> Edit Application Defaults --> Then Edit the line for "CalyTxtFactors" to inclue the new fields. Separate values with the | symbol. IE: "Process_Order|Comment|Sub_Batch|" etc.
