I don't really have a question. Just reaching out to Micura people to see how they like it. Also, any tips on using an XTR head would be great too.

I like getting new toys.

I don't have a Micura, but a Contura and an Accura with an XTR. I love the sensor.

What tips are you looking for?

There is no CAA correction for it, so you have to manually define and qualify each position.

I also like that the stylus system plates have the screws on the bottom side, so it makes it easier to square up a stylus system.

We've got one and I like it.
Fewer styli/stylus systems with the indexing head is a nice feature.
We've also got a Contura on the other side of the plant near 1000 ton presses where you feel the floor vibrate every time the presses eject, so I feel much more confident with the results I get on the Micura on the quiet side of the plant. 😃

Consider yourself lucky. My company is taking one of my Contura's and sending it to our Monterey Mexico plant in December and closing the plant here before December 2020.

I'm suprised they have a Contura that close to presses. I thought the
Spectrum was specifically designed for a stamping environment?

Yeah, it must not have been considered when they installed it years ago.
The good news is we are moving it right next to the Micura in 2 weeks!
Now, maybe everyone will start believing the poor results I've been giving them. 🤣

If it's any consolation, a sister plant of ours just got a re-manufacturing contract last year where they closed down a line in Ramos Mexico and brought everything (including a couple Zeiss CMM"s) to Missouri.

Portillo's is great. I have to take my son to the childrens hospital downtown a lot and it is right next to the Original Geno's East. That might not be the best pizza on the planet but there is something cool about getting a pizza from the original location.
